Senior AI Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to play a pivotal role in advancing SpeedTech Innovation’s AI capabilities. This position offers a unique blend of autonomy and impact, allowing you to shape our AI strategy, architecture, and technical approach. You will work on cutting-edge technologies, design innovative solutions, and drive meaningful advancements in how we leverage AI to revolutionize industries.

Key Responsibilities

· Architect and implement core AI systems from the ground up.

· Define and execute SpeedTech’s AI strategy and technology stack.

· Develop groundbreaking AI features leveraging methodologies such as Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and traditional machine learning (ML).

· Design and implement robust data strategies for AI development and training pipelines.

· Explore and apply diverse AI techniques, including NLP, computer vision, and predictive analytics, to address complex challenges.

· Establish and champion best practices for AI development, testing, and deployment.

· Stay ahead of emerging AI advancements and assess their relevance to SpeedTech’s use cases.

· Lay the foundation for future AI capabilities and contribute to team expansion initiatives.

Requirements

· Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

· 4+ years of demonstrated expertise in AI/ML software development.

· 3+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying machine learning models.

· 2+ years of experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs).

· Proficient in Python and industry-standard AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).

· Experience with various AI approaches, such as supervised learning, NLP, and computer vision.

· Strong understanding of data collection, preparation, and management for AI initiatives.

· Exceptional problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing ambiguity with clear decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

· Proven experience designing AI systems for real-world applications.

· Familiarity with MLOps and LLMOps practices and tools.

· A track record of building AI solutions from ideation to deployment in startup environments.
