About the Role

As an Environmental Engineer, you will work to ensure that construction projects adhere to environmental standards and regulations. You will be responsible for assessing environmental impact, recommending sustainable solutions, and implementing practices that reduce ecological footprints.

Location: UK (Various Locations)

 

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct environmental assessments and audits on construction sites.

· Develop and implement strategies to reduce environmental impact.

· Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and standards.

· Collaborate with project teams to incorporate sustainability into designs and processes.

· Provide technical advice and recommendations on environmental matters.

· Monitor and report on environmental performance and risks.

 

Essential Qualifications

· Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.

· Knowledge of environmental regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 14001).

· Experience in conducting Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA).

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Proficiency in environmental modelling and data analysis tools.

 

Desirable Skills

· Certification in environmental management (e.g., IEMA or similar).

· Experience in construction or infrastructure projects.

· Knowledge of renewable energy and sustainability practices.
