Type of Employment: Hybrid Role – Newcastle upon Tyne (1 day per month on-site)
Salary: Competitive (Dependent on Experience)
Key Responsibilities
· End-to-End Project Leadership: Drive projects from initiation through to implementation and handover, ensuring timely delivery and meeting business objectives.
· Team Leadership: Motivate and guide cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability across disciplines.
· Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, maintain accurate forecasts, and deliver comprehensive financial reporting to senior leadership.
· Strategic Planning: Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to support business goals.
· Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless alignment of expectations and deliverables.
· Agile Methodologies: Implement Agile frameworks, adapting to evolving project needs and managing ambiguity effectively during the early stages of initiatives.
Key Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
· 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in client-facing roles.
· Proven track record in end-to-end project delivery, including managing budgets and resources.
· Expertise in financial planning and reporting, with a strong grasp of forecasting.
· Proficient in risk and issue management, ensuring smooth project progression.
· Certified in recognized project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile).
Desirable Skills & Experience
· Experience in the technology, energy, or utilities sector.
· Familiarity with both public and private sector projects.
· Degree-level education in a relevant field.
